This dress was made out of recycled plastic shopping bags. It was ironed together to form "seams" and you can see pictures of it being worn here.

This reminds me of the bread bag rugs my grandmother used to make.

mostly by taking old bread bags and twisting them a lot so they were yarn-like, then I think they were either crocheted, or woven into small little rugs
