The original camera was distributed in a Czechoslovakian Magazine in the '70s.

Polaroid's dead, and Pivi is born

It will be cool for about three months in 2009, and then for 5 years in 2029. But with the demise of Polaroid's instant film, the digital alternative is already on its way: A hand-held, digital camera that prints your images in 20 seconds, the Fuji Pivi.

It's been available in Japan since 2006. You can order it elsewhere, of course, you just have to be crafty. (And it's kind of cheap, actually).

Swedish Army Recruitment Video for Girls

The Swedish Army is going after girls who want to experience adventure overseas. And since the alternative for overseas adventures, in the eyes of the Swedish Army, is to become an Au Pair (a Nanny), the ads are targeting the Au Pair Mystique in a series of TV ads. Which are, I'd say, some of the more bizarre ads for an army I could conceive of.
